A $200,000 Powerball lottery ticket and two $50,000 tickets were sold in New Jersey for Monday’s drawing.
The $200,000 prize was won by someone who bought a ticket with the Jackpocket app and spent an extra $1 on the Power Play option, lottery officials said.
Both $50,000 tickets were purchased in Perth Amboy, Middlesex County: one at ShopRite on Convery Boulevard, the other at LC Grocery on State Street.
All three third-prize tickets matched four numbers plus the Powerball.
Monday’s winning numbers were 7, 23, 29, 64 and 66. The Powerball drawn was 23 with a Power Play of 4X.
No one across the country hit Monday’s $804 million jackpot, pushing the top prize for Wednesday’s drawing to $835 million with a cash option of $357.9 million.
A second-prize $1 million ticket was bought in Delaware. It matched five numbers but not the Powerball. Delaware Lottery officials have not announced where the ticket was sold as of late Wednesday morning.
The odds of hitting the jackpot with a $2 ticket are 292,201,338-to-1.
The odds of matching five numbers but not the Powerball are approximately 1 in 11,688,053. The ticket would win a second prize of at least $1 million.
The odds of winning a third prize of at least $50,000 are 913,129 to 1.
Powerball drawings are held each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Forty-five states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and, as of July 21, the United Kingdom participate.
