A United Airlines flight from Chicago to New York City diverted to Pittsburgh International Airport on Saturday afternoon for a "reported threat."
According to information provided by the Allegheny County Airport Authority and FBI Pittsburgh, United Flight 2092 diverted to Pittsburgh International Airport and landed safely.

In an updated statement, a spokesperson for the airport authority said the plane was screened "with negative results," and law enforcement cleared the scene. It was not immediately clear what officers were screening for or what the "reported threat" was.
"The plane was diverted and landed at Pittsburgh International Airport," FBI Pittsburgh said in a statement to KDKA-TV. "All passengers and crew safely evacuated the aircraft."
The passengers deplaned safely, and no injuries were reported. Pittsburgh International Airport remained open and operational, authorities said.
No other information was released on Saturday.
